Son Bou is one of the largest coastal developments along the south coast of Menorca, and is ideal as a family getaway. San Jaime, in particular, was built with families in mind.

You can rent one of the wide range of self-catering villas or apartments, from where you can walk down to the longest beach in Menorca. The fine, white sandy beach leads to a shallow bay where small children can safely paddle. Watersports, including jet skis, scuba diving and windsurfing are available for the more active.

There are a variety of restaurants and shops available, all more than adequate to supply your needs if you plan to do a self-catering holiday in one of the many villas available in Son Bou. Or take a bus trip to the weekly markets in Alaior where you can buy fresh produce or hand-made pottery.
